Job Summary:
We're seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to handle the full cycle of AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. This role supports the finance team through precise data entry, maintenance of financial records, and adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.
Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to validate transactions (3-way matching).
Enter and maintain invoice data in the accounting system.
Schedule and prepare payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts are up-to-date.
Assist with month-end closing by preparing accruals and reports as needed.
Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and records.
Support year-end 1099 preparation and reporting.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

3-5 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Experience with accounting software QuickBooks.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
